I'd like to buy an original painting, how can I do that?

You simply purchase it through the webshop and when I have received your order, your original painting is going to be nicely packed in and shipped out.

Do you allow local pick-up?

Of course! Email me or call me, and we will coordinate a time for you to pick up your painting.

Do you do commission work?

Yes! I have a commission tab right up there in my navigation where you can read more about the process and inquire about your custom painting.

Can I follow up on the development of my ordered commission work?

Yes, definitely. You can be a part of each phase of your commissioned piece in order to be sure it’s just the way you want it! If you’re concerned about the color or some specific details, we will keep in touch continuously. I’ll send photos/videos of the artwork, so you can be a part of the development. I only add photos that are honest to the artworks true color quality and try to be as accurate as possible.

In addition, you can also do workshop visits once in a while and see the artwork in real life.

Art by Annija receives payment via the following payment cards, including Dankort, VISA, VISA Electron, and Mastercard. When paying, the amount will be deducted from your account shortly after the purchase.

Secure trading

Secure trading Art by Annija encrypts all your card information with the so-called SSL (Secure Socket Layer) protocol. This means that unauthorized persons cannot read your card number or other information during the transaction.


How is the artwork delivered?

Art by Annija makes sure to arrange delivery with a carrier (unless stated otherwise during the order) to the recipient’s address. You can expect to receive your items within max. 5-10 business days. If shipped out of Denmark it can be a little longer depending on where you are located.

Should the item be back ordered or otherwise delayed, you will be notified accordingly by email or phone. If delays occur at the freight company, Art by Annija cannot be held responsible for the delays.

What is the delivery time of a custom-made artwork?

The delivery time of a custom-made artwork is agreed upon individually from project to project depending on size and complexity, therefore can vary a lot from the order date.

How much does it cost to order a custom painting?

The price depends on the painting size and complexity, so we together agree on the final price. I ask for 25% non-refundable deposit to begin with to cover the cost of materials; with the remaining balance due once your painting is complete.

What is the delivery price?

The price for handling and delivery is calculated at check out depending on the destination and the size of the artwork.

Can I return my artwork if I change my mind?

When you shop as a private customer at Art by Annija, you are entitled to 14 days’ right of cancellation. The right of withdrawal begins from the day on which you as a customer specified third party (but not the carrier) is in possession of the purchased product.


*** Delivery of products that are custom designed or embossed by the customer wishes or specially manufactured by customer’s inquiry, however, is not covered by the right of cancellation and will, therefore, lapse, jf. købeloven §18, stk. 2, punkt 3 ***


You can undo a purchase even though the item has been used. An item is only used if it is used in addition to what is possible by testing the item in a physical store. If the item is used, a concrete assessment must be made of what the product used can be sold for to another consumer. If the product has suffered impairment, which you as the buyer are liable for, it will be deducted from the purchase amount.


In order to make use of the right of withdrawal, the decision to cancel a purchase/agreement must be submitted in the form of a written statement by means of a letter form or mail. The right of cancellation is complied with and will enter into force if the message to this effect reaches Art by Annija before the 14 days expire, counted from the day on which you as the customer are in possession of the product.


If the right of withdrawal is used, you as the buyer are obliged to return the product no later than 14 days after the cancellation is notified to Art by Annija.


According to købelovens §22, stk. 1 you as a buyer have the right to have the full invoice amount repaid through the same form of payment as used for the purchase.
According to §22, stk. 4 i købeloven Art by Annija has the right to withhold the refund until the product is received again. You, who could bear the responsibility of returning the product in the same condition as delivered for, claim the right of withdrawal.

You, as the buyer, according to §24, stk. 2, are obliged to pay the direct costs in connection with the return of the goods unless Art by Annija, which the seller, have agreed to otherwise.

This means that Art by Annija only takes products back and pays reimbursement through cancellation right through trading on our webshop and other online sales channels ***


Art by Annija does not receive shipments by COD (efterkrav) and does not collect parcels sent to locations other than the aforementioned address.

Artwork warranty

Art by Annija grants a 2-year warranty according to the Buying Act, this means that you, as the buyer, have the right, against expectation, to call for a possible error or defect. You as the buyer must, according to §81 of the Buying Act, give Art by Annija a notice within a reasonable time after you as the buyer has discovered the defect, otherwise the right to call for the defect ceases. Announcements of errors and omissions given to the seller within two months after you as the buyer has discovered the defect are always considered reasonable.
If you act as a business customer, you have 3 months to call for any defects.
Costs for returning to Art by Annija are at the buyer’s expense. If the complaint appears to be valid, this cost is refunded to the buyer.

The warranty does not cover defects, damages, or wear, directly or indirectly caused by improper operation, poor maintenance, violence, or unauthorized intervention.

Acc. to §78 of the Danish Sale of Goods Act you as the buyer in case of product errors or lacks have the choice between:
1. Correcting the defect
2. Delivery of another item that matches the agreement (replacement)
3. A suitable rejection of the purchase price
4. Cancellation of the purchase if the defect is not insignificant

Acc. to §78 as the buyer, you cannot demand redelivery or repair if the implementation of the chosen authority is impossible or will impose Art by Annija, the seller, disproportionate costs. In doing so, the value of the sales item must be taken into account without any deficiencies, the significance of the defect, and whether other authority can be implemented without significant inconvenience for you as the buyer.


Acc. to §78, stk. 3, you, as the buyer, cannot demand an appropriate rejection of the purchase price or cancellation of the purchase if Art by Annija, the seller, offers repair or replacement.


Acc. to §78, stk. 4 Art by Annija, the seller, must meet the requirements or offers for repair or replacement within a reasonable time, without the expense and significant inconvenience to the buyer. If this is not the case, you, as the purchaser, acc. to §79, determine an appropriate rejection of the purchase price, the cancellation of the purchase, the replacement or repair of the defect for the artwork of Art by Annija.


If you have submitted a product for complaint, you will receive information as soon as possible that we have received the product for assessment. In this, you will also be informed more about the process. You as a customer must pay postage/shipping to the address of Art by Annija and return on the rejection of a complaint, but these will be returned if the complaint is approved.
